These brooches are handmade using a mixture of contemporary and traditional processes.

There will only be one made in each colour available making them completely unique and original! I have only listed the ones that are currently made and available but do get in touch if you would like to commission a different colour/shape combination.

They are made from American Black Walnut and coloured Perspex both of which are etched to add extra detail to the brooch.

The brooch backs are all hand made from brass with a simple stainless steel pin to finish.

SHAPE 3: 50 mm x 45 mm approx

If the colour/shape you require isn’t photographed then please be aware that it will be handmade to order and therefore take 1-2 weeks to dispatch. If you are in need of it quicker please get in touch and I will see what I can do but I unfortunately can not guarantee speedy dispatch.

Sidenote:

The colour of brass darkens over time. It is part of its natural ageing process and can add beauty to the piece, however if this is not to your liking then you can restore the shine by gently polishing with a polishing cloth or compound. It is then advisable to reapply a protective coating of Renaissance wax to slow the tarnishing process down again.
